What is SERV?SERV is the umbrella organization for community service at Olin. We are here to Support, Encourage, and Recognize Volunteerism in every form in the community. We support the core value of Philanthropy within the College. We carry out those ambitious goals through a number of different activities:
and generally ensure that community service is alive and well at Olin. Who is SERV? There are 7 members of the SERV Board that you can talk to with any SERV questions or to get involved.

Need a Way to Log Your Service Hours?SERV has become a certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award. This is a national award that is given based on hours of community service time. Both individuals and groups can receive awards. You can get an award for as few as 100 hours of service, and overall participation could get SERV an award, ,too! Start an account and record your hours. Go to Presidential Award and use TMZ-13849 as your organization code. Enter in your hours (you can put in hours that happened in the past.) We're going to try to use this this year to keep track of how many hours Olin students serve, so get involved. We're still working out the details so any advice should come to Ellen Chisa or the rest of the SERV Board! |
